Trying to fix a treadmill/ Rewiring.
I have a Weslo Treadmill that I am trying to fix. Its model number is WLTL2532.1
What I'm trying to do is wire around the motor controller because it seems to have burned out. I've managed to do this before on other treadmills by hooking the motor up direct with the power and using a dimmer switch. Is there a way to do this? Because I can't seem to figure out how to wire it together successfully. I always come up with an extra wire. The motor's model number is C3350B3006 from Icon Health & Fitness. Please help.

You should not use a dimmer switch on the motor but you could try a ceiling fan dimmer if the wattage matches.

Won't work, it won't have enough torque on lower speeds.
