 I tried to wire an on/off switch for my attic fan which has a thermostat. As soon as I turn on the switch the breaker trips. I thought the switch was shorting out so I tried another switch but the breaker tripped again. If I remove the switch from the circuit the fan works fine. Is there... 
Attic Ventilation when NOT have a furnace

 My parents have baseboard heat in their single wide 1972 mobile home. They don't use the furnace (and may have taken it out I am trying to determine what they did) because my mom is very allergic to the normal propane smells/emissions/fumes that are emitted from a correctly working furnace system.... 
Attic blower fan won't turn on

 Central air with blower in attic. No air blowing from the unit. If I switch to "manual" for the fan, I can hear a humming noise but the fan will not turn. "Squirrel cage" fan appears to move freely. 
Attic venting of bathroom exhaust fan

 Our bathroom has a ceiling light fixture whice I would like to replace with an exhaust fan. I understand the need to vent this out of the attic and to have the duct well insulated to avoid condensation. The problem is access to the outside. We have a roof with four sloping sides, no vertical ends....
