Is there an adapter to replace halogen track lights with pendant lights
I have a track on the ceiling with small halogen lights. I would like to remove the lights and use the track for three small pendant lights that use 60 watt bulbs. Is there an adapter for this?

Need to know exactly what type of socket the halogen uses, and the new bulb socket.

Catalog numbers of the lamps would be helpful.

Also include if you can the wattage and voltage of the lamps (bulbs)

This is important, 12V lighting transformers can easily be overloaded with inappropriate lamps or too many lamps.

Pretty much any track manufacturer offers pendant adapters for just this purpose.

What brand of track is it?

Thank you for your quick response. Unfortunately, the track lighting is in our vacation home in the Caribbean and I am in upstate New York.

Just figured it was a generic discussion but can see I was very wrong! It may have been from a "big box store". I will look and see and if can find it, will get back to you.

    What a great service!
