    Table lamp won't shut off after being rewired
    Rewired a lamp and did positive wire to brass and negative to silver but it now won't

    Sounds like a bad switch to me.

We are replacing our 4-lamp T-12 fluorescent fixtures. One vendor suggests new 2-lamp fixtures while another tells us 2-lamps will not provide enough light and suggests 3-lamps. I want proper lighting but don't want to pay any more than necessary.

OK I re-wired the motor per the diagram you sent. Blower will come on, run for a few minutes with tstat set to On. Any ideas? I have rechecked the wiring a dozen times, and I have some training in elecetrical, it looks correct.
