    Splitting 200amp service to 2 100amp services
I have a 200 amp service with 200amp breaker at bottom of meter loop on the pole. I want to run 100amp service off this to 2 separate cabins. How do I split from the 200amp breaker to 2 100amp breakers?

An easy way is to use the products from Midwest Electric Products, Inc., but they must be approved by your utility. You can get meter enclosures with two 200 A breakers and even a convienience receptacle in them.

If it's on your side, you may be able to use a meter encloseure with a bypass (Don't know if Midwest carries them) and use a cover for the meter box. That way your not dependent on the utility requirements. In many ares, the box also needs a sticker to show compliance. The local electrical suppliers provide meter boxes with the required stickers.

Double lugs are used to connect mutiple wires to the same terminals.

Hopefully someone can chime in as to the sizing of the wire.
