    Splicing inside circuit box
If I have wires iinside a circuit box and they are too short to reach can I splice a wire to either neutral, or ground, or hot so it reachs its final termination point. If so what is the appropriate splice to make? Ie; wire nut, crimp connector for ground wire.

    Thanks, Don

Just purchase a couple of cheap click-in extender blocks. Click one on the short wire, and insert a short extension wire. Problem solved ! (At least that is how we do it here!)

    Success !

    Don,

The previous poster is from Europe.

Under the NEC code here in the U,S,A. you can install a junction box near the end of the wiring and then splice the wires together inside the box to attach the need wire.

You must: Use the proper wire nuts, size box, cover, wire clamps and the junction box must be accessible.
