    Ceiling fan light burned out!
Ceiling fan light fixture burned out and actually flashed blue when the light switch was turned on. Immediately secured power and tried to troubleshoot issue by replacing bulbs. No success. Replaced entire fan with a harbor breeze and still light is not coming on. Is it the switch its self or could the wiring have gone bad and needs to be replaced?? Fan still comes on so we know we installed it correctly.

Could be the switch. Pull the switch, disconnect 1 lead and connect across switch or use a jumper cable. Light come on?
