    60 Amp Service Wire
    Using 10-3 to my garage to a sub panel for 220 volt for my small welder and small air compresser.. lights and odds and ends... some times called 30 amp wire... is that good for 30 amps on each 120 v side?. for a total of 60 amp service ? Tks... richard

    #6 is good for the 60 Amps, #10 is good for 30 amps.
    Use 2 #6', 1 #8 for neutral and a #10 for ground.
    3/4" PVC works well for this. Pull 3 way wiring if needed.
