 I have a separate small living quarters that is a single room that is about 180 feet away from the main panel. It is going to get another little bed room a small kitchen and a bathroom also maybe a washer. The main panel is a 100 amp meter socket combo. What should I upsize the main panel to? ...

 The other day, I read where a supposedly Electrician, could not find the size wire he needed, i.e., # 2 Copper, for, from meter to Fuse panel.. and, this guy told the owner, he could put one or two, of a smaller size, tie them togather to create a larger size wire to carry the heavier load.. the...

 Back to Honduras, where the NEC don't apply.. I am installing a 150 amp service.. and it is about 100 ft from breaker panel to meter, and about 50 ft from meter to utility pole connection.. These people commonly use aluminum, and # 2 awg is the largest I can find.. Does anyone think this is...
