    How many lights can I put on a 15 amp circuit breaker?

    Volts X Amps equals Watts.
    120 X 15 = 1800 watts.
    Derate 80%
    1800 X .8 = 1440 Watts to work with.
    1440/60 watt bulbs = 24 (60 Watt Bulbs) or 14 100 watt bulbs.
