    Hampton Bay Sutherland Ceiling Fan
I have installed a Hampton Bay Suthland 52" Ceiling Fan. No bulbs were supplied with the fan. The box states it needs 2 E-17 intermediate 60wt bulbs. I have been unsuccessful in finding these bulbs. Is there a substitue?

E means Edison base. Like Tomas Edison's light bulbs. E-17 is an intermediate size.

Intermediate base flood light bulbs also known as an E17 base in standard in 25 or 40 watts.

Here is a source for E-17 lamps: Light Bulbs Etc, Inc.

60 wt means a maximum of 60 W per socket. You can use less.

I'm not familiar with that fan, but if it was sold without bulbs they should be available at Home Depot.

Were they supposed to include bulbs but they are missing?
