    Ground wiring
    I have three outlets on the same line. One outlet which is in my dining room I didn't use so I just unhooked it. Well had to hook it back up so that I can use the other outlets. Prior to unhooking the said outlet all three outlets read OK on my outlet tester. Now that it's been hooked back up, my outlet tester is telling me no ground wire. What could this mean? Loose wire?
    Any help is greatly appreciated.:confused:

    The bare or green wire is not touching Metal box, if Metal.
    If Plastic Box, No green or bare wire on receptacle.
    If first ground wire disconnected, none will be grounded.
