Replacing the switch on a wood burning heater
We have an old wood burning heater inset (it was in the house when we purchased). We have no idea what brand as we cannot find it on the heater. The switch labeled Auto Manual broke. We always ran it on Auto since we prefer it to start when the heat has reached a certain point and turn off when it becomes too cool. We have searched and searched for the switch and have been unable to find it. Does anyone know where we could get it? It is a three wire switch. The following appears on it, 3 Amp 250VAC 6Amp 125VAC 1/4 HP 125-250VAC Mexico M

We have no expertise in the electrical area so we are unsure if another switch will work. We do want the auto choice since we usually leave it burning at night and allow it to cut off in the middle of the night as it becomes cool. This keeps the house warm at night. I'm assuming one of the wires was a thermostat wire? Can anyone advise?

Bring the switch to an electrical supplier, hardware store, electronics supplier, someone will be able to match the switch with a new one.
