Remote now only controls fan, used to dim and on off lights
Hampton bays fan model either 175-718 or175-620 or 175-652 or175-702. The remote will now only control the fan. It used to also turn lights on and off and allow you to dim the lights. Now lights can only be turned on and off by light switch.

Sounds like someone bypassed the remote receiver at the fan.
