Red wire is causing me problems
I used to have a ceiling fan and I replaced it with a regular ceiling mount. All wires are connected except the red one. When I turn the light on it won't shut off. How do I fix this problem?

Connect the light to the red instead.
Fan was probably controlled by pull chain, and the light, if it had one would connect to the red.
