Putting up a ceiling fan that comes with a remote.
I have a ceiling fan that came with a remote control. There are no chains to pull and I can get this wiring thing down. I have a red, black, white and ground coming from the ceiling and on the remote box I have a red and white wires on one side and white, black , and blue wires coming from the other side. I am lost on what to do.

Do you have the instructions from the remote? That should give you a clear diagram of how to wire it.

I assume the red wire is the switched wire in the ceiling so just use that and the white for your feed to the remote.

No actually I do not have the instructions. I have looked for them but with the move and boxes, I mean I lost them.
Now you said the red wire is that from the ceiling? I am very confused about this. I am sorry for my confusion.

Black white and blue match those colors on the fan. Red and white connect to red and white OR black and white from the ceiling.
