    Programming ceiling fan remote
I have a ceiling fan which I can't find a brand name for. The lights aren't coming on and there are no controls on the unit itself. To make it worse, the remote control has not been working since I changed the battery. Now, someone told me that you have to reprogram the remote to the fan, but I have no source to find how to do this. Please help me.

You shouldn't have to reset the frequency after changing the battery.

When you attempt to use the remote, does it's indicator light still light up?
