    Portable Generators
I have a Coleman Powermate Generator 6250 that a couple of weeks the ON/OFF switch
Went bad (rocker type switch, hung in middle).Parts for Powermate generators or hard to
Find as I understand that went out of business. The question is the old switch had three
Terminals L(-) with wire attached 3(-) with wire attached and 2(+) no wire. The new switch
Has three terminals Ground,Acc,Power(+),would I have to use Ground and Acc on the new
Switch or what would I have to do to make it work.Note the generator will shut if there
Is low oil so I know one wire is low oil,and one to control board. Thanks for your help.

Actually, you have two terminals so it's basically an on/off switch.

Just position them the same way. Say wire #1 went to the bottom terminal and wire #2 went to the middle terminal.

Just use bottom and middle and don't pay attention to markings.

The new switch sounds like it has an indicating light, can hook up if you want.

Portable DVD player - portable battery [ 3 Answers ]

We're getting ready to take a long trip (air mostly) with the kids, and have purchased two Sony FX810's for their use. The battery's are new, and in good shape, I let them each use the players ONE day to see how long the life was, and we got about 2 1/2 moves out of them - or roughly 5 hours as...
