    Penetration of Firewalls
    I would like to know if it is possible to penetrate a firewall with 2" diameter conduit. The Venue is Florida, at an airport. We are trying to run coaxial cables to the roof for some antennas.

    Of course you can penetrate a fire wall. What must be done is to seal around the conduit with a fire stop system rated equal to the fire rating of the partition.

    If the conduit is opened at either end, as being used as a sleeve only through the partition, then the inside of the conduit must be sealed also.

    You need to find the right product for your application and fire rating. Since this is a Place of Public Assembly, it may be best to check with the Airport Facilities for their construction criteria, and the local Fire Marshall for allowed systems.

    Keep in mind, if any low voltage cable, ie: coax cable, is installed without conduit, it also must be fire rated, AKA Plenum rated, cable.

    I agree with TK on checking this with the right people.
    This is not the type of thing you ask at a DIY site. After all, the heading is "Home > Home & Garden".
    Communications work in an airport is far from this.
