One power source to fan need dimmer for light only
I have one switch to my fan junction box. Does anyone know of a remote that I can install in the junction box that will allow me to dim the light? I found one that will allow me to turn the light on/off (by Hampton Bay) and control the fan speed, but I need to control the light brightness.

Hey, if this is the same one that I got from Home depot you just have to hold the light button down and it will dim. When you turn the light off it automatically resets to max light when it turns back on. The one I got I installed into a light switch box but I have 2 hampton bay remotes that work in the same way. Hold the button down and it takes a sec but will eventually dim.

Yeah most remotes include a dim feature.
