    Maximum minimum wattage for autovolts
My TV set is autovolt with max watt of 220 and min watt of 95. It is autovolt. I was wondering if I plug it to 110v, would I get the minimun wattage and thereby save energy costs? And do all autovolt appliances work this way?

    What is autovolt?

No, you will not save any energy.

Any appliance uses the power it needs. Power is voltage times amperage. Up the voltage and decrease the amperage. Decrease the voltage and increase the amperage. Power stays the same.
