    Litex ceiling fan remote problems
I replaced the batteries on my remote control and I seem to have lost the connection between the remote and the ceiling fan/light. How do I reprogram the remote to reconnect?

Check to make sure the dip switches in the fan match those in the remote.

Are you sure the battery going dead was the problem in the first place?

Assumed it was the batteries as haven't changed them since getting the fan installed.

Guess the real question is is their a code that I can try to reconnect the remote to the fan

Did you check the dip switches? The link in my last post has instructions.

My remote got very hard to use. It would work sometimes and other times it would not work or I had to press the button very hard and hold it down several seconds to get it to work. I thought I would have to buy a new one, but decided to take it apart. I found the circuit board had a lot of black on it from the rubber used for the buttons. I cleaned the circuit board and the back of the rubber buttons with paper towels then put it all back together. Now it works like new! There are 2 screws that have to be removed and that's all there is to it.
