Light fixture was put back, but some outlets don't work now
The light fixture in my mother's kitchen was taken down because of some sheetrock work that had to be done. When the fixture was replaced we noticed that some of the outlets aren't working now. The fixture looks like its put back the same way and IT is working. We checked the circuit breakers and didn't look tripped, but we did turn off then back on... nothing resolved.

If the only thing that was touched was the light fixture, I'd suspect that all the wires behind it were not put back correctly. Since this could also be a safety issue, I'd remove the fixture and inspect ASAP.

Another thing that popped into my mind is that it could be a GFI breaker that tripped. This would be the best-case scenario, as you simply press the Reset button to fix.

Best of luck resolving this problem,
