Most fans are green for ground, white for neutral, black is fan wire, and blue or black/white
Is for light kit. This is Fan.
At he ceiling, you will have a white, green or bare, and a black or other color which will be switched, or constant hot for a pull chain fixture.
How you wire fan is dependent on what is available at ceiling. 2 wires from 2 wall switches would be great. You may just tie light fan wire together so both work with existing switch.
What do you have. You can still have separate control, no matter your situation.
