Install Ceiling Fan- Coler of wires
I need help to determine which wires I need to connect while installing a ceiling fan. The Fan has a Black, Blue, white and green wires. The wires in the ceiling are Black, Red and White.

My question is... the black was capped off and not being used. The red was connected to the light fixture. Which of these wire connect to the ceiling fan? Black on Black? If so, what I'm I to do with the Red in the ceil and the Blue wire from the FAN?

I would try connected black to black, blue to red, and white to white. If you don't like the results of that, connect both black and blue to red and keep the black capped.
