Are you talking about a wall mounted swicth in a box?

Don't know. I didn't put it up. It just look like a cover over a wall mount cover over a sliding switch (there 's a slide for the light control and fan control). Problem is the cover doesn't seem to come off and I need to replace it due to the slide control for the light breaking. Maybe there's a box behind the wall cover?

Most likely there is a box and the cover screws onto the box or it is attached to the switch itself, usually at least 2 screws. Try prying under a corner to pop it.

Check with Hunter Fan - Ceiling Fans, Air Purifiers, Humidifiers, Thermostats they are usually good at following up on their products if you call them.
