I replaced the three speed pull chain unit on my Hunter ceiling fan. Now I have four speeds and no "off". The wire colors were black, grey, brown and green. Any ideas?
How do I fix a pull chain light switch that will not pull?
I pulled the chain to hard, can I replace the chain? If so how, Is their a kit to buy or does it come all on its own? Or do I need to get a new ceiling fan? In the dark?
At one time a manufacturer made a helper lever to turn on a light on this kind of light but cannot seem to find it. It fitted right on the switch with an extension so it could be pulled on and would retract into the swith with out hanging up. Anyone lknow of this ltype of helper?
Ok, my 81 year old mother's ceiling fan pull chain broke off inside the switch. I was careful when I changed the switches, only changing one color at a time.
