    There is no specific method for grounding a boat dock identiifed by the National Electric Code.

    If there is no power to the dock assembly itself, no need for grounding.

    If there is a power to the dock for a lift motor, the dock will be grounded through the equipment grounding conductor of the feeder to the lift motor.
