I purchased a Hampton Bay ceiling. It's Model is 5104 (Lyndhurst 52" ) and a Hampton BAy Remote, Model #70830. My question is: Is this remote compatible with the fan?

The remote for my hampton bay ceiling fan/light quit working altogether out of the blue this evening. How do I fis it? I tried a new battery but still no luck. Thanks

I am trying to get at the receiver in the upper dome. How do I get at that thing? Do I need to take down the whole unit? Is there and easy step to reset the receiver? Please help!! :confused:

The ceiling fan remote has lost part of its function. The button which turns the light off/on and dims the lights will only dim the lights. It will not turn the lights off and on. All other functions work such as fan speed, fan off/on and reverse. Any thoughts
