    How does it work?
I just moved into a new home that was previously owned for about 8 months. It has two Harbor Breeze ceiling fan lights (matching) with remotes. I can't seem to get either of the remotes to work. Yes, I've tried every possible dip switch setting, but have not ventured up to the fan itself. (Vaulted ceiling, very high) I have looked for a user manual on the web without luck. Any suggestions for this scared of hights mom?

This may seem like an idiotic question, but it has to be asked. Have you checked the batteries?

Yes, I have checked batteried and changed them with known good ones. I have now tried to get up to see what I can do as far as taking the fan apart to check dips or look for a bypass switch, but I don't have a tall enough ladder... :(

Do the fans work at all? Are you getting light or movement? If so, how are you controlling them?
