How do you replace aquarium lights
How do you take out the old bulbs in an aquarium light hood. There's not enough room to just pull them out

Partly, it depends on the type.

Remove the hood COMPLETELY from the tank.

    Incadesent, unscrew.

    Fluorescent, a lot easier.

If you didn't put vaseline on the ends of florescents and threads of a fluorescent bulbs, then they could be difficult to remove.

Incadescents may break. It may require plyers to remove the threaded portion.
