 I'm trying to replace a ceiling fan with light to a light only. My switch at the wall was a dimmer but I switched to a flip. The new fixture has 2 black 2 white and a ground wire. In the ceiling I have a bundle of white a bundle of black (that are all capped off together) a red and a ground...

 I bought a ceiling fixture that has two white and two black wires. How do I wire that to the wall that only has one white and one black? I know what to do with the ground, but this 2-1 thing confuses me. Thanks in advance, Shelley

 I removed a ceiling fan and now installing a light fixture. The new light fixture has two white, two black wires, and the green/ground. The ceiling has one black, one white, one ground, and one evil red wire. I connected the whites to whites, black to blacks, and grounded the green. Capped...

 There are three wires coming out from the motor housing (which I cannot get to?). A Blue wire, a black wire and a white wire. The white wire appears to have disconnected from the motor housing (which I cannot get to?). Can I still hook up the ceiling fan with this white wire not connected in the...

 - hampton fan has green, black, blue, black and White wires - ceiling has no color, red, white, and black wires I undertand black to black, green to no color, white to white, do I connect the red to the blue or just cap them.
