I (stupidly) threw away the old lightbulbs for a ceiling fan I hadn't been using. Now, I want to use it again, but don't know what size bulb to purchase. It is a Hampton Bay fan with 3 lights, about 40 inches. I believe the model is E307185... or AY-PE17? That's what's written inside the light...

My fan was working fine last winter. When I returned from the South, the remote would not cause the fan or light to operate. I replaced the batteries in the remote to no avail. My guess would be either the receiver or the transmitter has failed. But I don't know how to check it. Any ideas?
