Harbor Breeze Triton Fan not running at max speed
Hello - I bought a Harbor Breeze fan that is on sale at Lowe's yesterday. It is Triton 52" fan and comes with a remote and light kit. It does not have pull chain and the fan operates only via remote and not via wall switch. After installation, the max speed button in the remote does not work. When I press max speed, the fan turns off. The light works, the medium and low speed button works and the fan 'off' button works.
    Can someone please help ?

    Thanks

Press and hold the fan off switch on the remote for 10 seconds. If that does not clear things up press and hold the low speed button for 10 seconds. Come back and tell us what happened. Bob

Thanks for your response. I tried the above suggestions but it did not fix the problem. I tried switching off the circuit and then switched it on and tried the suggestion, but the problem remained. I have been using another working harbor breeze fan for 2 years with remote. I reset code of that old fan's remote with the newer fan code - I have the same problem - All functions work except for the max speed.

You tried the old remote on the new fan and it had the same problem?

If that is the case then the receiver is bad. Either way it is a new fan so I would return it.
