    Harbor Breeze Ceiling fanworks sometimes
    Worked for several years now sometime light will work sometime not ,
    Fan will do the same with remote but can turn on / off from wall switch,
    Tried new remote and same thing happen.:

    May have a loose wire at the ceiling box. Check your wire connections.

    Naw probably a bad receiver. Try a new dip switch setting. If that doesn't work try a new receiver or a new fan :)

We have a harbor breeze ceiling fan. The blades have quit turning but the motor continues to hum when switch is on. Any suggestions as to what the problem may be? I called Lowe's and they told me to turn the blades by hand with the switch off and if I heard a buzz it was probably the ball...

Have a Harbor Breeze ceiling fan with remote and the power was shut off from the circuit breaker box and now my fan or light will not come on. Checked the connections, dip for the remote and reset the circuits but no luck. Any one with any ideas please pass along. Thanks

I replaced the pull switch for fan motor. In the process of rewiring the new pull switch, the black wire from old switch was not connected, so when I replaced with new switch I connected black wires. The light works but fan doesn't. The switch is a 4-wire pull chain switch.
