    Hampton Bay fan Wiring
I am installing a hampton bay altura fan with remote. There is no mention of what to do with the blue wire labeled "for light" on the receiver. I am not installing a light. I saw something somewhere that said something needed to be done with the blue wire even if not installing a light to make the fan run. (I can't remember where I saw this) Can you tell me if I have to do anything with the blue wire?

I have never seen or heard something needing to be done with the unused blue wire for light from receiver other than capping it off(to keep from shorting out inside housing)
