    Hampton bay ceiling fan remote?
The fan was responding to the remote, but never the light. Both would work with the pull chain. Now fan won't work at all, and light still doesn't respond to the pull chain.

Open the fan at the ceiling, remove the receiver, wire the fan without it, do the fan and light work from the chains?
