Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan has mind of its own
 I have a remote control Hampton Bay Ceiling fan with upper and lower lights. The lights randomly turn on and off and occasionally the fan changes speed by itself!? At first I thought there may be some radio interference in the neighborhood causing this to occur, but lately the problem is getting worse, so I'm not sure. My wife is beginning to think we've got ghosts, any ideas aside from the paranormal?

Yep, some other RF device. Change the frequency of the fan and remote.
