Hamilton Bay Ceiling fan and light
I have a great Hamilton Bay Ceiling fan and light.
Something has happened to it, and I can not get the light to turn off.
The fan works fine, but the only way I can turn off the light is to unplug it from the wall.
What is wrong with it? Please email your answer to [email protected]

Is it a remote fan or does it use pullchains? How was the light previously controlled?

    Answer to question above:
The light and fan are remotely controlled - the remotes still work well for the fan but the "light" buttons will not turn off the light. I must unplug the unit to turn off the light

Does the LED still flash when you push the light buttons? If so, the receiver is bad.

You probably need to replace the receiver. Try changing the frequency of the fan and remote, if that doesn't work, contact the manufacturer for replacement parts.
