    Fluorescent light humming
I have a circuline fluorescent fixture in my kitchen. It started humming today, I think it may have been left on for several hours(kids). Any suggestions?

Try replacing the bulb first. If this doesn't work, then replace the fixture--the ballast may be going bad. Note: In most cases replacing the fixture is cheaper than buying a new ballast
