    Fluorescent?
    I wired up a new Lithonia 4 buld fluorescent 54w high output fixture and I have a black white and green wires from my box. And the light fixture has a black, white and red wires, I know the ground green screws to the bottom of the fixture white to white but I am confused to where the black to black or red to black or wire all 3 together please help

    Please provide the part number of the ballast inside the fixture.

    On that label of the ballast you should also find a wiring diagram.

    Could be the black wire is for 120 vol input, and the red wire is for a different input voltage.

    New fixture should come with instructions and a wiring diagram.
