    Fan Works. Light Doesn't
I have a question about our ceiling fan that was recently installed. It's a Harbor Breeze fan that came with a light kit. The fan works perfectly fine but the light will not go on. To conect the light kit to the fan there is a 9 plug box so to speak that basically snaps together. Both pieces are color coded and yes, I did ensure that the colors on each one matched. The problem is that there is one black wire and one white, both with a white casing on the end that extends from where the pull chain is to turn the light on and off. These wires are connected to nothing and I don't know where they would connect to so that the light can operate. I don't seem to see anywhere that they can connect to.

Got the problem resolved. Seems there were 2 wires that have connectors where the black and the white wires plug into.
