    My fan switches off and light come on by itself
    My hampton bay ceiling fan model fan-9t switches to different speed and the lite comes on after its running about 10 minutes. The fan has been working with no problems for 5 years. Its run by remote. I switched batteries and even removed batteries and I still have this problem. HELP -Melissa

    Try changing the dip switches in the fan and remote. See:
