    The fan is shaking when turned on full force. How/where do I tighten?
    This is a fan of a friends Aunt. It is the type of Hampton Bay that has like a "cone" directly to the wall. She says that when she had it installed they did not got through the attic, however we can not find any place to tighten the "pole" that leads to the "cone" that goes directly to the ceiling (?)

    Many cheap fans wobble. This is why most of them come with a balancing kit. You can get extra kits at the same home centers that sell these fans.

    If something is actually loose I would take the whole thing down and check all the screws and connections.

    You don't need the kit.

    Make sure EVERYTHING is screwed tight, then balance the fan as per these instructions:
