    Fan light switch install
    Hello all, I replaced the lamp base on my ceiling fan, just two wires, I also want to change the pull chain switch for the light on and off. How do I wire this. I have tried and always blow the circuit breaker. Where do I hook up the pull chain wires? Thanks for any help.:eek:

    For the lamp? It's simple. The black/blue wire from the fan connects to one wire from the pullchain. The black from the lamp connects to the other wire from the pullchain. The white wire from the fan connects to the white wire from the lamp.

    I only have two wires, one black and one white.
