My fan is going slow and the wrong way.
My Harbor Breeze ceiling fan is going slow like it was on "low" but it's on "high" and in the opposite direction from the switch's setting. I had it since this previous winter and the heat wave has forced me to keep it on "high" constantly. Now it doesn't work right, but it did a few days ago. I don't remember the model name, but it's silvery and has movable halogen lights.

I don't know what capacitor it uses. I found the model #. It's 786224448. I'd rather not discuss the model name 'cause the name sucks.

The model name is much more helpful than the model number.

The capacitor should be marked with it's pertinant information.
