What would cause a dryer4 to continually blow the thermostats? The dryer is wired to a fuse box.

Blow the thermostats ? I assume you mean that the thermostat frequently cuts-off.

First of all : you ALWAYS have to clean the air filter from lint before running any drying cycle. Every time! Lint can cause unnecessary heating up, fire, equipment failure, and it cost money for unnecessary extra electricity use. It also may cause your thermostat to cut out.

Is the exhaust perhaps (partly) blocked or restricted in any other way?
The problem seems to indicate that the dryer gets too warm.
To be able to dry the laundry , incoming air is heated and blown through it to evaporate the water it still contains, after which the humid air is exhausted. Either outside or recycled through a condenser system.
So check if sufficient air is exhausted through the flexible hose. If not check the filter and the air inlet openings.

As to the cut-offs : Some of the newer dryers have a built-in duty cycle switch that allows drying of the laundry in almost the same time as in continuous operation, but with reduced electricity consumption.
May be you mean that with "blow the thermostats".
But that is not related to thermostats cut-off, but to INTENDED energy saving.
