    Dj lighting
I'm a music dj, I have a circuit box with 8 channels that say I can put 10 amps per channel. The box says I can it has a 15amp breaker. The question I'm asking is can I put a total of 80amps since I have 8 plugs?

Since each channel of control or dimmer can handle 10 amps, each channel will need a 15 amp circuit, so if you have access to 8-15 amp circuits at a gig, then fine, but don't expect to find that at most venues, such as halls for weddings, dances, etc.

Many times you will find perhaps a 40 or 50 amp plug, that a stage show will have a pigtail to plug into for distribution. If your lucky you will find two of these that then can handle your 8 channel distro board.
