    Delay in light coming on
I installed a new ceiling fan and now there is a slight delay in the light coming on. It's set up with a separate switch for the fan and the fan comes on with no delay

Have to ask. Are you using reguler incandescent bulbs or the new kind in the fixture?

Some fans with electronic controls have a very slight delay... do you also have a remote control for the fan?

If I turn the furnace on, and set the fan to always run, then it will work fine. I thought the problem may be...
