Cut ground wire on pool table light
Accidentally cut ground wire on pool table light. Can I safely splice together with electrical tape or electrical wire nut? Will, probably purchase new light, but want to be safe in the mean time.

Ground wire or was it possibly the neutral? If it was a bare or green groundn wire you can splice it together twisting the two end and then a wire nut, no taping
